Simply A Good Day

Today was simply a good day.

My wonderful husband preached today for the morning service and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I love listening to him preach!

He poured so much into this messages and still gets so nervous which then in turn makes me really nervous for him! 

The neat thing about today was that I only knew the general topic of today’s message and nothing else.  Usually by the time he preaches it I’ve heard several times through and another dozen times in bits and pieces!  But today I got to simply sit back and be blessed.

Then we came home, relaxed a bit before heading into Sr. High Youth Group, and then enjoyed a good evening with them.

Now I’ve finished up some last minute prep work for starting the new week and now I am headed to bed.

*ahem*  Yes, I am aware that technically the week began today.  But MY weeks begin on Monday!  *grin*
