Okay, well…I’ll just share anyhow!
My tip is…

…to turn off the word verification!
Correct me if I’m wrong, but the only thing it helps is to minimize the spam comments. However, I have had mine off for some time now and I get about 1 spam a day. I delete it and move on.
I know, you’re probably thinking that I’m not a “big blogger” since I only have 1 spam a day. *sigh*
Well, anyway…by taking off the word verification you get more comments across the board. So it’s worth the spam to get more chatter from YOU!
Some of you have your commenting set up where when you leave a comment and click on “post comment” it then reloads to show word verification. This extra step is frustrating and it’s easy to click out of the blog before it’s reloaded so that the person thinks they have left a comment, but really they haven’t.
Whatever you decide to do, it may be worth the try to take off the word verification for a week or two and see what happens! Let me know and I’ll come comment!
