Our church has an Awana Club program and Abby is in Sparks. Last year she had to learn the books of the New Testament and this year she has to review them again. However, she is having difficulty remembering them.
So, being the wonderful improvising mother I am - *snort* – I made up my own solution to this problem.
I took 4x6 index cards and wrote a book of the Bible on each one. Now she “plays” by putting them in order. Not only is she refreshing her memory on the New Testament books, but she is also utilizing her reading skills…which works for me on this Wednesday!
