Last week we were given a bag of hand-me-downs for Abby.
I *heart* hand-me-downs because it helps us keep our kids in clothes!
Abby got the bag home and and found a fluffy, pink bathrobe with monkeys on it. She excitedly got changed from her school clothes right into her pajamas! Over the top she put on her new pink bathrobe. Then she came out to show me and said:
“Mommy! Look at my new thing! It’s what you put on when you are ready for bed, but you’re not going to bed just yet!”
Here's a comment! This is really cute. We get "grab bags" too, and recently Esther (6) received a red and green felt nightgown. She wore it the rest of that day, and cried when she couldn't wear it to church! She felt it was SO special... :-)

ReplyDeleteI <3 hand-me-downs too! We get so many from people at our church. I rarely have to shop for my kids!
