Simple Woman's Daybook - April 27th

FOR TODAY

Monday, April 27th

Outside my window...

Blue skies and bright sunshine...a gentle wind slowly drying my wash.

I am thinking...

About how much I want to get done today, about how glad I am that I don't have to fix supper tonight (We've been invited to someone's house), and about how much I love having the windows open!

I am thankful for...

The ability to clean, the ability to read, and the ability to love!

From the kitchen...

Uhm...nothing much since I'm not cooking tonight! But I will be fixing lunch of mac & cheese for the kids with chocolate milk and strawberries!

I am wearing...

My "ratty" jeans with a "bummy" t-shirt...typical cleaning day clothes!

I am creating...

A more organized closet in our bedroom, a clean house, clean wash, and eventually clean kids.

I am going...

to the post office to mail more books with paperbackswap.com. I SO enjoy that site!

I am reading...

Humility by C.J. Mahaney

I am hoping...

For God to work a miracle.

I am hearing...

A truck running in our neighbors driveway, kids playing, washer washing, birds chirping, and the sound of my fingers running along the keyboard.

Around the house...

I got out my summer clothes and thinned out our bedroom closet for a clothing drive our school is doing, and I'm going to hopefully organize the entry way closet, too!

One of my favorite things...

Reading after a busy day.

A few plans for the rest of the week:

A run to the library, lots more cleaning...and I'm not sure what else right now.
