My Study

Welcome!

This is what I call "my study". It's a little room right off of our bedroom that I have made special. Our desk (& computer) are in there, but other than that it's all related to spending time with God and studying.

Would you like a tour? Well, here we go!

This is looking into my study from the living room.

Our desk is to the right and I rolled the top down so you can't see our beast of a computer! (That and the clutter since the desk is the only area I allow myself some clutter!)

This is my tag chair (time alone with God). Next to it I have all the things I may need in the little wicker drawer stand - chap stick, index cards, hand lotion, pens, highlighters, etc.... On the floor you can see my basket with all the books and notebooks I use.

I have a bookshelf full of my favorite books and my Bible collection.
And if you have been following my on twitter...you will know about my most recent addition. Let me explain...
On Thursday I went out to lunch with my Mom, Grandmother, Aunt, and Cousin. There was a little shop next door and I found 2 school house chairs that I fell in deep like with. They were being sold for a really good price, but not so good that I would buy them on the spot. Besides I wasn't quite sure where I would put them! So as I ate my mind ran a mile a minute to hatch a plan. Finally Thursday afternoon I came up with a plan. I measured the room and decided that the next day I would rearrange to see if it looked as good as it did in my mind. It did!
I bought these chairs today and here's the result: a little nook where I can study or counsel with a friend.
They have a pocket in the back for books and a shelf underneath, too!

Adorable, aren't they?!

Then here is my cabinet full of more books and other items.

And here's a look of how our bedroom is right next to it.

I'm so excited! This isn't something I had ever thought about until I saw those chairs. Now I have wonderful place to relax and study. You can visit this post to see how it used to look. What do you think?
